Smiling Creek Elementary School is Burke Mountain’s newest school, who opened its doors in September 2018. The school is located at 3456 Princeton Avenue and is part of School District 43.

The Burke Mountain area is scheduled to add two new elementary schools in the near future: Sheffield Elementary (under construction) and Marigold Elementary.
